April 2020 Gallery General Information
- Submissions for our April 2020 Gallery close on 2/29/20 and it is imperative that any artists wishing to participate apply before this date.
- You will have enough space for up to five pieces to be displayed. The juried selection committee will review all submissions and notify artists if their work is selected.
- Art needs to be framed or ready to hang on 3/29/20. We have hanging wires and a support frame set up. You may also hang your pieces using an alternative method. The staff at Studio Evolve will be hanging all art pieces. If you have concerns about hanging your own work please let us know. Art must be dropped off at Studio Evolve during business hours from 11 AM to 9 PM. Drop off days are 3/24-3/28. Studio Evolve will not be accepting art after 3/28 so it is imperative that this is done if you wish to participate.
- When you arrive to deliver your artwork between 3/24-3/28 you will need to get the assistance of a Front Desk Staff Member. Upon delivery you will need to sign our Artist Gallery Agreement and list the details of the pieces for display. You will retain a copy of these documents.
- Studio Evolve will take a 10% commission of the total cost of items sold. Please price your work to account for the 10% commission (artist retains 90% revenue). Also, a 3% fee is applied to all purchases made with a credit card (tattoos included). This 3% fee will be paid by the customer.
- Opening Reception will be on April 5th, 2020 from 4-8 PM. It is in your best interest to be available to answer questions or discuss your pieces with prospective clients.
- The art will be on display for 6 months following the Opening Reception. The close of the gallery is tentatively October 2020. Your art will need to be picked up around this time. Please plan accordingly.
- Payout for art sold will be paid out monthly via check that will be available for pick up at the front desk at Studio Evolve during business hours Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We will contact you when your check is available for pick up.
- As a participant in this gallery, Studio Evolve requests your support and participation in promoting this event. This includes tasks like: sharing the event, inviting people to attend, and contributing promotional content related to your art.
- Please label photos with the title of the piece featured.
- The minimum size accepted for the gallery at Studio Evolve is 8×10 inches. The maximum size for art is 48×48 inches.
