Working with clients to translate their concepts and ideas into bold and expressive tattoos is an opportunity I am so thankful I’ve received. This craft produces extraordinary challenges and rewards that I am endlessly grateful for and eager to share.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have been working in tattoo studios since 2008, and I received my official tattoo license in 2010. I believe it was my happiest moment to date. Every single tattoo I do reminds me of this amazing opportunity I have been given. I have the most exciting and rewarding occupation, and I have the support of my friends, family and my clients to thank for it. Any and every opportunity I have to produce the best piece of art I’ve ever made is an opportunity I am overwhelmed and anxious for. Let’s put our ideas together and make a tattoo come to life on your skin!
Lucy Lou
Drawing has always been a part of my life. For as long as I can remember I have carried a sketchbook and pencil and attempted to bring images to life on paper. Having made the neighboring woods and creek my playground, my inspiration has always been pulled predominantly from nature. Animals, trees, flowers, mushrooms, skulls and beetles are ever creeping their way onto my canvases. While I dabble in a variety of mediums such as graphite, charcoal, pastels, pen and inks, acrylic and oil painting and air brushing, none of these have ever been as exciting or compelling as tattooing. The privilege of producing permanent art on skin is premier. I think almost all of what I have done prior to tattooing has molded me towards this craft. I thoroughly enjoy working in black and grey scale as well as full color and don’t normally prefer one over the other. My main goal is to produce naturally flowing images which are bright, bold, high in contrast and richly saturated. Every single tattoo I get to do is prioritized as an opportunity to produce the best piece of art I have ever made.Working with clients to translate their concepts and ideas into bold and expressive tattoos is an opportunity I am so thankful I’ve received.
